Are entry tickets included in the sightseeing package?

No, monument entry tickets and the Lake Pichola boat ride are paid separately at each place. We keep them out of the package so you only pay for what you actually visit, and so we are not adding a margin on top of a government ticket price.

How many places can I cover in one day?

Comfortably eight to ten in a full day, or four to five in a half day. It is possible to squeeze in more, but Udaipur rewards a slower pace — the lakes and ghats are worth sitting at rather than ticking off.

Can the driver act as a guide?

Our drivers know the city well and will happily tell you about the places and where to eat, but they are not licensed guides. For a proper guided tour inside City Palace we can arrange an approved guide at the entrance.

What is the best time to start a sightseeing tour?

Around 8:30 am. You get City Palace before the coach groups arrive, gardens during the heat, and you still reach Sajjangarh in time for sunset without rushing.
