How is a round trip priced compared to one way?

Round trips are charged per kilometre with a minimum daily running, usually 250 to 300 km per day, plus a nightly driver allowance. It costs more than a one-way overall, but you get the car for the whole itinerary rather than just the drive.

What if we want to change the plan mid-trip?

That is usually fine and one of the reasons people book round trips. Extra kilometres beyond the plan are charged at the same per-km rate you were quoted, so a detour never becomes a renegotiation.

Do we pay for the driver's food and stay?

No. The nightly driver allowance in your quote covers it, and the driver arranges their own accommodation. You should not be asked for anything extra at any hotel.

Is a round trip better than booking separate one-ways?

If you are visiting several cities and returning to Udaipur, yes — a round trip is simpler and usually cheaper than a string of one-ways. If you are travelling in one direction and flying out from the last city, one-way is the better value.
